Duven™ Tidy Mealtime Mat
- Raised lip keeps spills and kibble off the floor
- Food-grade silicone that wipes clean in one pass
- Non-slip base stays put through the most enthusiastic eater
Materials and care
Food-grade silicone. Wipe clean with a damp cloth or rinse under the tap. Dishwasher safe on the top rack.
Will it fit my bowl?
It is sized to sit under a single raised bowl or a standard pair of floor bowls, with room to catch what gets pushed over the edge.
The bowl was never the messy part.
Most of what ends up on your floor never touched the bowl on the way out. It was pushed over the rim, flicked off a chin, or dragged out on a paw. A flat towel just spreads it around. A raised silicone edge holds it in one place until you are ready to deal with it.
- The mess stops at the edgeA raised lip runs the whole way round, so water that gets pushed over the side and kibble that gets flicked out stay on the mat instead of under the fridge.
- Clean in one passSilicone has no seams and no weave for food to work its way into. A damp cloth takes it back to new, or it goes on the top rack of the dishwasher.
- It stays where you put itThe underside grips the floor, so the mat does not travel across the kitchen every time an enthusiastic eater leans into their bowl.

Twelve colours, one job
The colour is the only thing that changes. Every mat is the same food-grade silicone, the same raised edge and the same non-slip underside.
-
1
Pick the one that disappears
The greys and dark greens sit under the bowls without announcing themselves, which is what most people want in a kitchen.
-
2
Or the one that does not
The yellows, pinks and oranges are for when the mat is meant to be seen. Same mat, same lip, same grip underneath.
-
3
A colour each for two pets
Two mats in two shades is the simplest way to keep two feeding stations apart without labelling anything.

Food-grade silicone, not a plastic tray
The material is the reason this is still wipeable a year in. Plastic scratches and holds what it is fed; silicone does not have anywhere for food to go.
-
1
No BPA, no plastic film
Food-grade silicone, the same material used for bakeware. It does not build up the greasy film that plastic trays develop after a few months of wet food.
-
2
It does not hold on to smells
Silicone is non-porous, so last week's fish does not stay in the mat the way it does in a fabric placemat or a scratched plastic one.
-
3
Heat resistant, so it can double up
It handles hot water and hot dishes, which is why a lot of people end up using the spare one as a placemat rather than storing it.
Questions, answered
How big is it?
It is sized to sit under a single raised bowl or a standard pair of floor bowls, with enough clearance around them to catch what gets pushed over the edge.
Will it slide across the floor?
No. The underside grips tile, wood and vinyl, so it holds its place even when a dog leans into the bowl. On a rug it sits on top rather than gripping, which is worth knowing if that is where the bowls live.
How do I clean it?
A damp cloth handles day to day. For a proper clean, rinse it under the tap or put it on the top rack of the dishwasher. Silicone has no seams for food to hide in, so nothing needs scrubbing out.
Is the silicone safe around food?
Yes. It is food-grade silicone, the same material used for bakeware, with no BPA. It does not absorb odours and does not hold on to the film that plastic mats build up.
Which colour should I pick?
There are twelve. The greys and dark greens hide daily use best, the yellows and pinks are the ones people buy when the mat is meant to be seen. They are the same mat underneath.
