Duven™ Fold & Go Travel Bowl
- Folds flat to the size of a coaster and clips onto a lead or bag
- Opens to a full 350ml for water or food, then folds away again
- Food-grade silicone at 60g — light enough to forget it is there
Materials and care
Food-grade silicone with an ABS rim and a steel carabiner. Rinse under the tap or put it on the top rack of the dishwasher. The silicone does not hold odours, so yesterday's food does not turn up in today's water.
How big is it?
350ml when open — a proper drink for a medium dog, a full meal for a small one. Collapsed it is about the thickness of two coins, so it sits flat in a pocket or a bag rather than taking up room.
The walk was never the problem. The water was.
Cupped hands do not work. Neither does a bottle cap, or waiting until you get home on a hot afternoon. A dog that has run for half an hour needs a drink where they are standing — and the only travel bowl that helps is the one small enough that you brought it.
- It folds down to nothingThe walls collapse into the base, so the whole bowl becomes a flat disc about the thickness of two coins. It clips to a lead, a belt loop or the outside of a bag instead of taking up space inside one.
- It opens to a real bowlNot a token cup. 350ml of food-grade silicone with a rim stiff enough to hold its shape while a dog pushes into it, so water stays in the bowl rather than on the path.
- It goes where you will actually find itThe carabiner is the point. A bowl in the boot of the car is a bowl you forget. A bowl clipped to the lead is one you use, on every walk, without thinking about it.

Five colours, one job
Food-grade silicone in five macaron shades. The colour is the only thing that changes between them.
-
1
350ml, whichever one you pick
Blue, purple, yellow, green and grey are the same bowl in five shades — same capacity, same rim, same steel clip.
-
2
A colour each in a two-dog house
Two bowls in two shades means nobody has to remember whose is whose halfway up a hill.
-
3
Bright enough to find in a bag
The pastels show up against dark rucksack lining, which matters more than it sounds when you are looking one-handed.

It clips to whatever you already carry
A travel bowl you have to remember to pack is a travel bowl you will leave at home. This one lives on the lead.
-
1
Collars, leads, backpacks
The steel carabiner takes anything with a loop or a D-ring, so the bowl travels on the outside of whatever you are already carrying.
-
2
60g, flat against the bag
Collapsed it is roughly a coaster and about the thickness of two coins. It does not swing, catch or dig in on a long walk.
-
3
Carry it empty
The clip is for transport, not for hanging a full bowl. Open it, fill it, let them drink, tip out what is left and clip it back on.
Questions, answered
How much does it hold?
350ml — a proper drink for a medium dog and a full meal for a small one. Collapsed it is roughly the width of a coaster and the thickness of two coins.
Will it pop open in my bag?
No. The walls lock down flat and stay there until you push the base out, so it will not spring open against the inside of a bag or a pocket.
Can I use it for food as well as water?
Yes. It is food-grade silicone, so wet food, dry food and water are all fine. It does not hold odours the way plastic does, so it does not need scrubbing between the two.
How do I clean it?
Rinse it under the tap or put it on the top rack of the dishwasher. Silicone has no seams for food to work into, so nothing needs picking out.
Will the clip take the weight?
The carabiner is steel and is meant for carrying an empty bowl — clip it to a lead, a belt loop or a backpack. It is not climbing hardware, so do not hang the bowl full.
