Why elevated feeding helps
A bowl on the floor makes your pet crouch and swallow uphill at every meal. Raising it, and tilting it fifteen degrees toward them, straightens the path from mouth to stomach so food goes down at a calmer pace.
The pets who feel it first are the older ones. No more craning down on stiff joints at every meal, and far less flicked across the floor on the way.
Is it dishwasher safe?
Yes. The stainless steel bowl lifts straight out of the stand and goes on the top rack of the dishwasher. The stand just needs a quick wipe.
Does the stand come with the bowl?
Yes, every bowl arrives seated in its own elevated stand. The stands are not a separate purchase and there is nothing extra to add to your basket.
Buy 1 + Get 1 is two bowls and two stands. Buy 2 + Get 2 is four bowls, four stands and a free copy of The Well Dog, our 63-page digital handbook for feeding, movement, safety and longer, healthier lives, emailed to you after checkout.
What size pets is this bowl for?
Sized for medium and large breeds, from beagles up to retrievers and bigger. If you have a cat or a dog under roughly 10 kg, take the small bowl instead.
Processing and delivery
Orders are processed within one to three business days, and delivery is free on both offers. Delivery usually lands inside the window shown above the buy button.
Your dog works harder than it needs to at every meal
A bowl on the floor asks your dog to crane down and swallow uphill at every meal. The bigger the dog, the further down they reach. Lift it, tilt it 15 degrees, and the same food goes down the way it is meant to.
- Less gulping, fewer bad finishesRaising the bowl straightens the path from mouth to stomach, so food goes down at a calmer pace instead of being swallowed uphill.
- Kinder on older jointsNo more crouching and craning at every meal. Senior pets feel the difference first.
- Stainless Steel that stays cleanPlastic bowls hold on to an invisible film that plain rinsing never shifts. Stainless steel has nowhere for it to cling.

Fifteen degrees changes the whole meal
The tilt brings the food to your dog instead of making your dog reach for it. The bigger the dog, the more obvious the difference from the first bowl.
-
1
Head up, neck straight
Big dogs have the furthest to reach. The raised stand meets them partway, so there is less craning down from full height.
-
2
A calmer pace at the bowl
A natural eating angle lets food go down steadily instead of being hoovered off the floor.
-
3
Room for a big muzzle
The wide bowl gives larger faces space, and food gathers at the low edge so they finish the meal instead of chasing it round the kitchen.

What dog owners tell us
Photos and words from customers feeding medium and large dogs.
I wasn’t sure the wide bowl would make much difference, but it gives our boxer plenty of room for his face. I also like having his food a little higher. He still lowers his head, of course, but the position looks comfortable for him.
I like the slight tilt. The food is easy for him to reach from the front, and the raised setup looks a good fit for his height. Still gets a few bits on the mat, as you can see, but overall I’m pleased with it.
I was a bit sceptical about how much difference raising a bowl a few inches could make. I do like where this puts his food, though. His head is still down, but the position looks natural for him. Happy with it so far.
Wasn’t completely sold on the metal look online, but it’s quite nice in person. The wide bowl gives her room to eat, and lifting it out to wash is straightforward. A simple, practical setup that suits us well.
Wanted to try a raised bowl without getting one of those really tall feeding stations. This brings the food up a little and lets him reach into it easily. Nothing dramatic, just a setup that looks comfortable for everyday meals.
A bit more than I’d normally pay for a dog bowl, but I’m happy with it. Plenty of room for his dinner and no complicated parts to deal with. The removable bowl is handy when it’s time to wash up.
The feeding position was what interested me most. Our golden can stand at the bowl with his head lowered without reaching right down to the tiles. He looks comfortable eating from it, which is what I wanted.
Bought it mainly for the feeding height. I wanted his dinner closer to him so he wasn’t reaching all the way to the floor. He still bends his neck, but the height seems a sensible fit for him.
A little more than I usually spend on a bowl, but I really like the simple design and that it lifts out for washing.

Questions, answered
Will a raised bowl actually help my pet?
For most pets, yes, and the difference shows first in older ones. Eating off the floor means craning the neck down and swallowing uphill at every meal. Lifting the bowl and tilting it straightens that path, so food goes down at a calmer pace.
Do the stands come with the bowls, or do I buy them separately?
They come with the bowls, at no extra cost. Every bowl arrives in its own elevated stand, so Buy 1 + Get 1 is two bowls and two stands, and Buy 2 + Get 2 is four bowls and four stands. There is nothing separate to add, which is why the offer appears as a single line in your basket.
The bowl lifts out of the stand for washing and drops straight back in.
What is the free ebook?
Every Buy 2 + Get 2 set comes with The Well Dog, Duven's 63-page practical owner's handbook. It covers feeding, body condition, teeth, movement, enrichment, household hazards, emergencies and caring for an ageing dog. The download link arrives in your order confirmation email.
How does the tilt actually help?
Tipping the bowl toward your pet means they reach food without craning their neck down and swallowing uphill. Meals go down at a calmer pace, and less food ends up on the floor.
Why raised instead of a normal bowl?
A bowl on the floor puts the whole body in a crouch. Raising it lets your pet stand naturally, which matters most for older pets.
What size pets is this bowl for?
This one is sized for medium and large dogs. If you have a cat or a small breed, take the smaller bowl instead. Both share the same tilt and the same steel.
Is stainless steel better than plastic?
Plastic scratches, and those scratches hold on to a film that plain rinsing never shifts. SUS304 steel is non-porous, so there is nothing for that film to cling to, it does not stain, and it does not take on the smell of whatever was in it yesterday.
How do I keep it clean?
Warm soapy water, or straight in the dishwasher. Steel wipes clean in seconds, and because nothing soaks in there is no scrubbing and no lingering smell.
Will my pet take to it straight away?
It's still their bowl, just at a height that suits them. Put it where the old one stood and give it a couple of meals to settle in.
How long does delivery take?
Orders are processed in one to three business days, and the estimated delivery window is shown above the buy button on every product page. Delivery is free on both offers.
